Greetings from New York City – home of the Occupy Wall Street movement. I want to share my first ever music video with you that I made with the help of a small but dedicated group of friends that expresses my support for the underlying theme of the Occupy movement.—wresting control of our political system back from the corporations in this country (and around the world). The song is called “Live One” as in “….you’re a live one, stuck on the hook but surviving”. I’ll post the lyrics at the bottom of this email for you to read. I am offering the song for free (or donation) on my Bandcamp page. Hopefully, you agree with the message because I want to enlist your help to spread the word about this song and video. The inspiration to finish this song ahead of the rest of my album, and release it as a single came from a NYT article called “Occupy Wall Street Lacks An Anthem” which was published on Oct 19th. This video was shot on October 24th. This is my small way of contributing to this important movement.
